Welcome to the Assessment and Program Evaluation Web page,   The mission of Assessment is to raise student achievement for all Gilroy Unified students while simultaneously closing achievement gaps. We do this by ensuring that instruction is aligned with assessment and by providing timely and accurate data about student performance on district, state and federal assessments.   The mission of Program Evaluation is to improve the quality of data that are available for making informed decisions about educational programs in Gilroy Unified. This is accomplished by analyzing data and information from well-designed studies that permit a determination of how effective programs are in achieving their goals.   Please use the information provided here to help meet the academic achievement targets we have set for all students and schools, and feel free to contact me or my staff with suggestions about how we can improve our service.
